Industrial Audiological services are provided on site as well as at our hearing healthcare practice. When administrative and engineering controls are not feasible in implementing noise reduction, the Audiologists is the key member in hearing preservation by implementing a personal hearing protection program. We will monitor hearing via baseline assessments, periodic hearing screenings as well as diagnostic assessments.

The Audiologist will make appropriate recommendations for personal hearing protection devices, depending on the nature and extent of noise exposure. Additionally, the Audiologist will fit appropriate personal hearing protection and instruct on its use and care. Hearing protection devices include ear plugs, ear muffs and custom made ear plugs.

Objective hearing assessments are provided in order to verify subjective tests. These results also play an important role during medico legal cases.
